I created a simple servlet and clicked Execute. According to online help that's all I have to do. It says "There are no web modules in the repository."
Actually IDE doesn't support servlet execution in case there are no web modules mounted in the explorer. The servlet should be somehow connected to a web module. On the other hand, the error message is not timely enough. I need some idea from Lesslie or Jeff how to change the text in the error message. Moreower the Online Help should be corrected (Lesslie)
Set target milestone to TBD
Prior to 7/18/02, NB 3.4 was displaying the wrong online help for the web apps functionality. At my request, Patrick Keegan removed the out-of-date files, so the problem should be resolved. The up-to-date help (which is the one users now see in the IDE) makes it clear that servlets must be executed in the context of a mounted web module.
see my comment, above.
