I upgraded to new version of IDE to find aout that I can't connect via SFTP on a remote server. It gives me the possibility to connect via FTP but not SFTP. Really ?! It is 2015, most devs use remote servers via SFTP !

Unfortunately this is out of this component (my) scope. Can you be more specific, where you use ftp so I can find appropriate bugzilla component for resolving your issue? It would be best to describe how to get to your problem and what version of Netbeans are you using (by attaching messages.log)

Right click on any project on IDE. Go on Properties->Run Configuration-> Run Ass --> : There is no SFTP possibility to be able to upload folders/files on a remote server. The problem is on 8.0.2. I downgraded on 8.0.1 which supports SFTP connection.

What kind of project on IDE? I look at Java and Html and I don't see options as Run Configuration.  I am sorry can you be more specific? Thank you
