+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #89584 +++ Hi, I'm creating a new bug since the other similar one is closed and my problem is different than the other user. I'm also having a problem with Visual web pack installation but my details are different. I have jdk 1.8.0_25 and I installed Netbeans 8.1 and downloaded netbeans-visualweb-5_5_1-windows.exe, double clicked it to install the web pack. First it said that it said "no JDK was found on this system". Then it asked me to open java.exe. So I browsed the file. clicked open and then a new window popped up: The wizard cannot continue because of the following error: could not load wizard specified in /wizard.inf (104) WARNING: could not delete temporary file C:\temp\ismp006 WARNING: could not delete temporary file C:\temp\ismp006\3406351 WARNING: could not delete temporary file C:\temp\ismp006\2988104 after the above message i went back to my temp folder and deleted all the temp files it created, but every time i try to run the .exe file, it creats new ismp with 001,002,003 and so on and gives me the above message. According to the installation guide, I also tried to specify a different temp directory but my issue is not about space anyway.
Created attachment 157641 [details] log file after executing the visualwebpack .exe file I have attached the log file.
Hi there again! I've looked at similar bugs and they are telling me to do the following: Description: If you have the Java Web Services Developer Pack installed, the NetBeans IDE installer might fail with the message: "The wizard cannot continue because of the following error: could not load wizard specified in /wizard.inf (104). Install will not continue." Workaround: Move the jre/lib/endorsed/sax.jar file from your J2SDK installation before installing NetBeans IDE. You can move the file back after completing the NetBeans IDE installation. However, in my jdk 8 I can't even find endorsed directory and there's no sax.jar anywhere?........so I have no idea what to do
