What the API of org.nb.api.projects.Recognizer is
good for? It does not seem to be used anywhere in
the API and moreover seems more like SPI than API.

Remove or document, please.

I have improved javadoc of Processor, Recognizer. BTW what is the
criteria for having classes in API and SPI. I am sorry, I still don't
know how to make this decision.
