1) The text fields for CATALINA_BASE and CATALINA_HOME are not editable. 
It's necessary to use the browse button. 

2) If you have already 
entered something into a text field, and you open the browse button again, 
it starts the file chooser with no selection, from the users home 
directory. So if you want to change to a sister directory, you have to 
reenter the whole path from scratch. This is inconsistent with the rest of 
the IDE.
