Form editor performance seriously degrades as the
number of components on a form rises

What do you mean? You cannot resize form components. It's layout
manager job. There is a scrollpane so no resizing is really performed.

Please REOPEN with explicit details. I'll remove it from toppish
responsiveness issues until you object.

Hm, Radim is not the author of this complaint. Probably 
the resizable designer area is meant, not individual 
components. Then it really can be slow when there are more 
components, because it is resized immediately when mouse 
is moved.
