- define intra-project links which can be used as an object's identity - when URL resolving strategy changes all links can be updated - use intra-project link to construct name of settings contexts
It seems that there is no good general solution for keeping links up-to-date. It works for links loaded in memory, but doesn't work for those which are not loaded. The settings API found its own way how to deal with this problem, but it is not generic solution usable for others. Having the links repository in project is ugly because it pollutes the project file by implementation artefacts of the project infrastructure. The other parts of system (like organizers, etc) will have to ensure that links they maintain are loaded in memory or refresh them manually.
