Evey try goes the same way.  I am in explorer and click on 
the file.  First I get a dialog box about one inch high 
with a completion bar on it.  After two seconds it 
disappears.  After about 20 sconds the wizzard comes up.
click on next. The next frame allows me to change the 
directory of where the program will be put.  After that
I click on next.  The mouse changes to an hour glass which
never goes away, and one time I waited and hour.
I would like very much to try out your IDE.  I hope you can
help.

I would like to send you the file I downloaded.  But it
29MB and you limit attachments to 1MB

Please, let me know what jdk yo use. If you have problme with
installation, please try to download archive and simply unarchive it.
Run netbeans\bin\runidew.exe and IDE should start.

There is known problem with insatller hang on jdk1.4.1 - info is in
relnotes. Because I don't have more/enough information about this
issue signig as wontfix.
