NB Project 200308190000
Linux JDK 1.4.1_03

It is not 100% reproducible.

I always only closed and than tried to open some
project.
After close - ClassCastException was thrown.
Than I tried to open this project as recent - NPE
and nothnig was opened. I tried it again - many
NPEs were thrown and project was openend with some
strange nodes like 

LogicalView$SourcesMarkClass
ResourceLook$ResourcesMarkClass
OutputLook$OutputsMarkClass

It's probably caused by some other issues like issue #35492 or issue
#35379 and issue #28151, but I am leaving this open for furter
investigation.

I would say that's 100% reproducible for me with build 200309100000.

After restart of IDE the *first* open on project works OK.

Open/Close project must work. It is essential feature -> P1.
