Description JavaFred 2003-12-01 20:30:40 UTC
I am new to NetBeans. I have installed the IDE
and have been creating and compiling Java code.
I wanted to work on the Tutorial for the JSP.
When I tried to deploy some code, a panel
appeared that said it was stopping the TOMCAT
server. It then was starting the TOMCAT 4.0.6
server. A message appeared when it was about 75%
complete saying "The TOMCAT server is not
running properly". I have looked for a
resolution in the bugs and the archive. After 8
hours I am exhausted, but I learned a lot. I did
not install the TOMCAT at all. I assumed it was
part of the NETBEAN installation. Maybe that is
the problem?? Heellllpp........ I'm drowning!!
