I started up help with F1, switched to the "find" tab, and typed jumplist<enter>. Help showed - Source Editor - abbreviations - jumplist - macros ... but it didn't display the jumplist page. Double clicking on the jumplist node (or anything else under the first Source Editor node) doesn't do anything. There is a second Source Editor node which works, but that has "jump list" not "jumplist". I'm not sure which one is correct.
Patrick, any idea if this is a mangled help ID? I'm guessing there's nothing wrong with JavaHelp (and if there is, probably nothing we can do about it on our end except wait for the next upgrade).
we are in the midst of a big re-indexing to take advantage of JavaHelp 2.0's mergng capabilities for indexes of different help sets. Most likely, we accidentally broke some of the mappings for index items. This should be fixed in the coming days.
John, do you know about this one?
Hmmm, so none of the nodes under Source Editor are working at all? This is strange. There is no bad help ID/metadata mistakes I can think of that would cause this. I definitely haven't seen this on Windows, maybe a Linux-only thing. Anyways, I checked in a lot of changes to the index over the weekend so it may have fixed it. Please try to download a dev build and look, I will also try to find a Linux machine to test it on.
> Hmmm, so none of the nodes under Source Editor are working at all? Well, it's not exactly that. It's more like there are two Source Editor nodes.
I tried 20040209. The "jumplist" node (and its siblings) are gone... so I'll close this as fixed.
