Description malakim 2004-02-09 09:42:54 UTC
[ JDK VERSION : J2SE 1.4.2_02 ]

The J2ME Device Emulator Registry doesn't become the active window when opened. It opens behnind the current source code page in the main UI.

This happens when using module KJava.nbn (2.4.1)from Modules catalogue.

I think this is a duplicate of another bug(s) reported recently.
Comment 2 _ tboudreau 2004-02-23 09:12:04 UTC
No idea what code opens it, but using a DialogDescriptor or a JDialog parented to the main
window should solve this. If it's 3rd party code, they may still be able to do something
with either Frame.getFrames()[0] or something such.
Comment 3 David Simonek 2004-02-24 11:06:42 UTC
I don't know what component this belongs to, but seeing J2ME Device
Emulator Registry, I'm assuming Martin Ryzl will know more.
If J2ME Device Emulator REgistry is regular TopComponent, then maybe
requestActivated call is missing? Or follow Tim's advice.

moved to 3rd-party component, likely needs to be fixed in j2me module
