Install netbean on windows and associate .java file with netbeans. in the windows explorer, click a .java file, then a netbean ide is invoked. and click another .java file, a new ide is invoked. the second .java file is not opened and edited in the existing nebbeans. this escalation is from the end user, so i gave it a high priority.
I tried on WinXP and I cannot reproduce. How have you associated .java with IDE? Using installer?
Well I tried in 3.6 dev build from 24Feb 2004. Can you reproduce in 3.6 beta (or lastest dev build)? Reopen if needed.
