Description tomzi 2004-03-19 11:35:04 UTC
In nb3.5.1 server.xml could be edited. Eg. to add
connectors manually or configure other things that
can not be configured by the properties tab. This
feature was quite useful as I didn't have to find
the file with the WinExplorer. May be we can have
this feature back.

Marking as duplicate - see issue #40314.

The support for editing server.xml has been removed from several
reasons, since the majority of configurations for webmodule can be
done in /META-INF/context.xml which is editable via the IDE now. Such
an action would be also problematic when you add an external tomcat,
which you do not have rights to edit config files of, or when the some
server is shared by several users.
