-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm marking it as P2 bug, becase it's very
unfrendly if I can't open already existing project
which I've created c. 14 days ago in NBdev build.

Till now, I've used this 14 days old dev build.
And migrated to this new buidl today with my
usersettings.

First of all, I've decided clouse my previous
projects which is bug #43376

So, than I deleted my user dir to start absolutely
from scratch.
I've successfuly opened one project (java app)
and wanted to open WebProject. But I've got only
this NPE. I can't get to projects sources, env, etc...

So thus it its P2.

Could you please attach the 'webapps breaking' project as well?

BTW, we do not support 'importing' between various dev builds since
there can be some significant differencies which normal users never
encounter.

Anyway, thanks for catching this Dane.
Comment 3 dmladek 2004-05-18 08:06:03 UTC
Yes, I'm calculating with that using dev builds is very risky.
But that's why I'm reporting it you might potentionaly fix it.

Anyway Marek, what exactly would you like to attach from my webproject?
I'm afraid it's bigger then 1MB which is allowed to attache here...:-/
Comment 4 Pavel Buzek 2004-06-24 13:14:18 UTC
The part of web module that would be interesting is nbproject plus
META-INF folder (if it exists) plus WEB-INF/sun-web.xml (if it exists).

Have you seen the exception before or after that? It is not clear to
me how it was related to project format.

I will add additional checks in code anyway. Thanks.

It's a long time ago, so I'm afraid I can't serve :-(
I've also deleted those projects and recreated them again...

I suggest to close it as worksforme or invalid? becasue now this bug
is probably irelevant. I've reported it in that time becasue I hoped
it coudl help prevent....
Comment 6 Pavel Buzek 2004-06-28 10:57:43 UTC
ok, won't fix as this was a problem with dev version of project which
is not supported
Comment 7 dmladek 2004-06-29 06:51:27 UTC
OK. I'agree
