Description zikmund 2004-07-12 12:52:58 UTC
Build 200407111800 (internal)

The default directory name should be
"NetBeans40Dev" or something like that, but not
"netbeans-4.0".

BTW: Q-builds should have "NetBeans40Qbuild"
default directory.
Comment 1 _ ttran 2004-07-12 12:58:41 UTC
the default dir name should be "netbeans-4.0dev" for dev builds. For
FCS it will be "netbeans-4.0"
Comment 2 zikmund 2004-07-12 13:44:44 UTC
I'd prefer use big letters in NetBeans name and spaces: "NetBeans 4.0
dev" -- it is a convention on Windows platform. Small letters are used
only in the case of internet address folder name (like mozilla.org).
Comment 3 mslama 2004-07-14 12:29:04 UTC
Who will define such details? I think it would be nice to have kind of
UI spec.
Comment 4 zikmund 2004-07-14 12:33:06 UTC
Yes, it's missing in the Functional specification. I think we should
keep previous version values. We agreed we those values before.
Comment 5 _ ttran 2004-08-13 14:16:07 UTC
well, I decide. For beta1, please use "netbeans-4.0beta1" as the
default name, for final use "netbeans-4.0" both Unix and windows
Comment 6 mslama 2004-08-13 14:56:29 UTC
Done both in trunk for dev builds and in QBE200408101800 branch for
beta1 build.
