[200409011800], jdk1.4.2_05

-create new web project
-run it
-cancel Login dialog

why the 'Deployment progress monitor' doesn't
close ? 'Automatically close this window when
finished' is checked and build finished, so...

Tomcat can either declare failure or success but cannot cancel
deployment once it is started.

The dialog is closed automatically only when the deployment finishes
successfully and the module was deployed. If the module has not been
deployed tomcat has to declare failure of deployment (it has no
deployed module to report back to the IDE). Of course if there is any
error the dialog is left open so that you can read the error message.

This means it cannot be fixed in current architecture (current version
of Deployment API).
