We need an additional menu item, "Profile | Help 
| About", which gives the release number, and 
maybe the relevant e-mail addresses like feedback!
profiler.netbeans.org up-front. Otherwise, if we 
keep releasing updates every month or so as 
planned, it may become very difficult to identify 
against which release the user reports a problem

I know a cryptic version number is available through "Tools | Options 
| System | Modules ...", but that's rather inconvenient IMHO.

I think it is fixed. "Profile|Help|About Profiler..." menu item
already exists.
