Description athompson 2004-10-07 19:50:32 UTC
netbeans: jdk-1.5
project: jdk-1.4.2
linux
cvs build 10/7/2004 1431EST

1. open web app
2. click the 'run' button (F6).
3! exit netbeans. stray java processes are left
around. they look like tomcat processes.

manually shutting down tomcat from the runtime tab
has no effect.

Stepan, didn't we see this issue before?
Comment 2 Sherold Dev 2004-10-08 08:51:18 UTC
This seems like an issue 49961, except the part:
"manually shutting down tomcat from the runtime tab
has no effect." - are you really positive about this?

Is it random? Does any error message appear? Can you attach a message log?
Comment 3 zikmund 2004-10-11 14:31:55 UTC
Downgrading to P2 since it seems to be a duplicate of issue 49961
without reproducible case.

Alvin, how often does it happen on your computer? Once/regullary/all
the time?
Thanks.

Alvin, is there anything suspicious in the IDE log file, after this
happens? Could you please attach it? Thanks.
