[20041214] Unable to start SJAS from IDE after successful installation. User have to set J2EE platform manually.
This issue is related to J2EE Platform manager. Manager will implement this alghoritm: if {NBINSTALL}/SunAppServer8 contains the app server install area, the plugin will use this... if not, then the code will look for the property -J-Dcom.sun.aas.installRoot Installer doesn't set up install path.
So please reassign to appropriate module.

AS is installed in $NBHOME/SunAppServer8.1. Server log is empty.
I don't have a new cobundle, but I think this should be fixed now with this: User: ludo Date: 04/12/20 17:29:42 Modified: external org-netbeans-modules-j2ee-sun-ide.nbm.scrambled Log: save settings after auto configuration that should fix: 52504 Can't start SJAS from IDE Revision Changes Path 1.16 +5304 -5117j2ee/external/org-netbeans-modules-j2ee-sun-ide.nbm.scrambled
Fixed... but you did not tell me you were using SunAppServer8.1 instead of SunAppServer8 I now use SunAppServer8.1 Ludo
