I'm using NbmProjectType with the cluster harness, and debugging. The set of sources correctly includes the jdk's src.zip and the src/ directories of all the modules I depend on. However, this does _not_ include the source code to openide.jar and any netbeans modules I depend on. This is to be expected, as I'm not guaranteed to have this source when I'm using the cluster harness. However, I'd like the ability to add new source roots to the debugger's search path manually.
Another use case for this would be to point to the source of a library in the module's ClassPath line. I think this might be the type of thing that would go in nbproject/private.
I would just consider this a basic feature of external-friendly NBM projects - you should be able to associate sources with a binary cluster. Should not force user to manually associate each source root. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 42681 ***
