Description iformanek 2005-02-24 07:00:14 UTC
If the user explicitely specifies root methods,
he likely wants those methods to be profiled, and
if they do not fulfil the criteria specified by
the instrumentation filter, it is likely an error.

Suggest to either
- warn the user about this when he clicks OK in
Select Task Panel or
- always profile root methods, whether they meet
inst filter criteria or not
Comment 1 mishadmitriev 2005-02-24 07:02:35 UTC
My vote is for "always profile them".
Comment 2 iformanek 2005-02-24 08:18:21 UTC
This is my preference as well.
Comment 3 mishadmitriev 2005-02-25 23:33:22 UTC
Ok, we've agreed on "always profile them", and I am going to implement
it that way.

Reverting to the original Target Milestone value changed by mistake. Sorry for
inconvenience.
