When I installed the NB 4.1/App. Server bundle at one point the installer displayed a message about how it was attempting to install the App. Server and I should make sure that my PC's firewall program was disabled. That sent me scrambling for the mouse in an attempt to disable the firewall before it was too late. Unfortunately, I apparently didn't disable it fast enough - the install of the App. Server failed. It would be better if the installer stopped and displayed a message dialog that said: "If you have a firewall program running, disable it and then click OK to continue." That way the user would have a defined opportunity to disable their firewall program.
We could redesign way how asbundle installer detects free ports. Question is: How reliable is checking ports during installation?
Improved free port detection would be great, but can we also get the message dialog added? That way the user will have an opportunity to disable their firewall *before* the installation continues.
Different installer is used for asbundle. This message is not shown anymore.
