The profiler should use the working directory specified in the "Run" tab of the project. It also does not use the specified working directory if I run a customized profiling season and specified a new working directory in the profile dialog. This is really critical as my application uses native libaries thar are not found if the working directory is wrong. Currently I copy them into my profile home directory because this is the path that the profiler currently always uses. I also had an email discussion with Misha Dmitriev about a year ago with the same bug in JFluid alpha 1. I'm using the folloing versions: Profiler M7 Netbeans 4.1 java version "1.5.0_04" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_04-b05) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_04-b05, mixed mode, sharing)
This is a serious bug in M7 release, where the profiler indeed does not use the working dir specified in the project or in the profiling settings. Will release updated version of M7 with this fix ASAP.
