Description rccnh 2005-07-06 15:44:54 UTC
I installed the NetBeans 4.1 IDE and the Mobility pack. Went to the samples,
opened one, and tried to Build it. Result was an error
Fatal Error: Unable to find package java.lang in classpath or bootclasspath

I have the 1.5.0_03 JDK installed along with the J2ME.

Do I need to change something? Where?

Note this is right from the install - nothing done except install it.

Thanks for the report but I could not reproduce the problem.
Does is happen even for some other J2ME projects (other samples or applications)?
Does it still happen even after NetBeans restart?
If yes, could you try to exit NetBeans, delete your user directory (C:\Documents
and Settings\<your user account>\.netbeans\4.1) or try to run NetBeans with an
alternate userdir (netbeans.exe -usedir <folder>)?
