When the web server is running there's a little 0- icon that can be expanded. From that you can set various properties; the ones I'm interested in relate to the JVM. When the web server is not running that little 0- icon isn't shown. I've just made a change to the JVM options which has prevented the web server from starting. So now I'm caught in a catch-22: the GUI won't let me fix the server because the server isn't running. I have to drop out and do the change manually. There is no interface to as 8.1 (other than vi) that will edit the domain.xml if the server is not running. It is a design feature.
