Editing build.xml - even edits to comments - causes netbeans to hang.

Log file is useless. Need a thread dump.

There was a serious bug in XML editing (not Ant specific) which caused freezes,
which was recently reported and I think fixed. So get the next dev build and
file a new issue with a thread dump if you see it again.

I'm happy it works for you.  The build I'm using is 200508241800. How recently
was  this fixed?

Last few days, I don't remember. As I say, try with the next build and file bugs
with thread dumps if you find a freeze.
