Description _ hlu 2005-09-29 23:55:07 UTC
The issue is found on Solaris 10 x86.
JSE8(using NB4.1) was installed by root. When using studio by non-root user
there are no two predefined Pointbase connections under Databases node on
Runtime tab, and there are no Pointbase node under Databases > Drivers, so it's
impossible to connect to Pointbase.

The Sun App server plugin issue, I'm reassign to J2ee/sunappserv8. Michale
Mocnak, can you verify in the latest daily build? Thanks

The issue is known in 4.1 and has been fixed in later build (i.e will not occur
with NetBeans 5.0 Beta).
For bug thread In Java Studio, read:

Fixed in version 1.5 of
RCS file:
/cvs/serverplugins/sun/appsrv81/src/org/netbeans/modules/j2ee/sun/ide/j2ee/db/RegisterPointbase.java
