Description agyepong 2005-10-06 07:18:31 UTC
Undeploying J2EE application from within NetBeans does not always delete files
under [j2ee.home]/domains/domain1/applications/appname resulting in inability to
redeploy applications.

Please add a reproducible scnerario,

In any case this would be a bug in the deploy backend of the server, which is
out of the control of the plugin...

Will mark as worksforme in the absence of more information.
Comment 3 _ ludo 2005-11-03 17:27:43 UTC
might be linked to
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=66983

The server might be locking some files (resources as stream, ...) so that
windows prevents them to be removed...

In anycase, this is a server backend bug...

Are you using 8.1 UR 2 ? (this is important for us to know, as there are many
bugs fixed between 8.1 and 8.1 UR2

Comment 4 _ ludo 2005-11-05 02:32:54 UTC
It is version bundled with NetBeans 5.0 Beta. It says "Sun Java System
Application Server Platform Edition 8.1_02 (build b06-fcs)".

Seems to be app server bug http://bt2ws.central.sun.com/CrPrint?id=6258619

Should be fixed in 8.2 and app server 9 (GlassFish).
Cannot fix anyway from NetBeans plugin side.
