When you create a zip distribution from a suite, the result does not include a
parent dir.  This is unlike the way applications typically are distributed (i.e.
if you unzip it on your desktop you get this explosion of crud when what you
really wanted was a directory appname/contentsOfZip - this sort of thing was
common ten years ago but not today).

In other words, the result of "create zip distribution" is not anything anybody
would want to distribute.

I vaguely recollect some obscure zip option to prepend a path to things being
compressed.
