This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
I just (successfully) checked out an NB module and got this dialog saying: "No NetBeans project was checked-out. Do you want to create a new one from checked-out sources?" This is confusing, the message seems to say "Nothing was checked out", I first thought it had failed. Could you please have a native speaker (which I am neither) rephrase it to something less ambiguous, like: "Your checked-out sources are not a NetBeans project. Do you want..." ?
I'm embarrassed, I think I worked on the text to change this from something else, but I did not see the confusion that it could cause. Sorry to make this a P2, but I think it would be a low-risk change with high user impact and it should be made before translation starts. I would recommend changing this to: "Do you want to create an IDE project from the checked-out sources?"
