with the latest problems on cvs.netbeans.org the cvs actions sometimes keep
running forever. that's IMHO a usability problem. 
in the same situation, smartcvs reports unaccessibility of server after a minute
or two.

Command line CVS, our etalon, waits forever. User can cancel anytime.

BTW are you sure that it's connected to server errors? There are few bugs in
finishing progress at our side.

i'm pretty sure. when it was "processing", i've started smartcvs to do the job,
but it repeatedly has thrown the connection error at me.

the netbeans progress popup showed a message about reading 0 bytes or something..
