Any modification of profiling blocks the computer for some amount of time 
(couple seconds or more), during which time, the user cannot use the computer - 
all apps are blocked, in some cases even the mouse pointer does not move.

The profiler is in the RedefineClasses call during this time - it is expected 
that the profiled application would be frozen during this time, but the rest of 
applications should run and the user should be able to interact with them.

This is a VM issue, where the RedefineClasses freezes the machine.
It will have to be fixed in the JDK, see:
