Go to Tools->Options->Keymap->Profile.  Choose Emacs.  Click on the OK button.  In the editor, select text and copy it (any way).  Now hit Ctrl-Y and the code doesn't paste.  If you right-mouse click and select Paste, the text is pasted.

This is a known issue, already tracked in issue 64624. Thanks for reporting.
