I've downloaded latest daily build (30.oct) of "Java EE 5" IDE and can't add my glassfish server to the list of servers in IDE - it's not available in proposed list of servers (only BEA, Jboss and 2 tomcats are available).
this is not the trunk build...so changing the version to 'other' Do you see the Sun Application Server choice? This choice works for AS 8.1, the future AS 8.2 as well as GlassFish.
There is no Sun Application Server choice at all.
So it's build error I think regarding wrong j2eeserver version (4 versus 3), at least on my machine. Pavel, can you look at this?
Yes, I am working on it. I just merged j2eeserver but other modules need to merged too.. I will fix it today. Sorry.
Fixed, I merged (hopefully) all modules that needed to be merged. The build created today (Nov 1) is still broken, but tomorrow should be ok.
I've tried nightly from 2. of November - same problem - there is no Sun Java Application Server in proposed server list.
It's not fixed, so I reopening it.
Strange. I just downloaded build 200511022300 and it works. Another developer confirms that it works for him after update/build. Did you try this with a new user dir? The problem was that some modules (incl. sun plugin) were disabled because of unsatisfied module dependencies. If you are using the same userdir you used for the last build then these modules would still be disabled. Either test with a clean user dir or go to Tools>ModuleManager and enable all modules manually. Hope this helps. Thanks for testing.
Thanks for the tip ! It works fine after I started it with clean user directory/settings. You can close the case.
Thanks. If you see other problems with this build assign them to me.
