Description skjprabu 2006-01-06 13:05:24 UTC
After When i had changed the UserName and Password for the SUN ONE WEB SERVER
(ie., localhost:4848 server) in the properties of it. When i restarted it the
Netbeans was repetedly asking for the Username and Password.

When im Entering the username and password it is not accepting the one which i
had changed.

Also when I'm entering to try with some value that same value is been changed
in the property of the server.

Suppose: Initially it had some default username and password.

I had changed it to Username : admin and password : admin
after changing this i restarted the server.

When it is getting restarted the NB was repeatedly asking for Username and
password.

First i tried with UN: admin PSWD:admin
It was not accepted when i gave wrong username and password as (
manager/manager). Same which i had entered was also affected in the server
properties.

Hi, which version of NetBeans and which version of the Appserver do you use? Thanks.

not sure what you mena by "When i had changed the UserName and Password" ...

Do you change them at the netbeans level (cache value) or at the server level?
NetBeans cannot change the UN/PW. The entry fields are only there to enter the
value and then try them with the server.
When these NB values are not the same as the server one, then the dialog popups up
to ask the user to enter the values known by the server.

Can you clarify which entry fields and products do you use for 'changing' these
values?
