Description ats37 2006-01-20 14:26:24 UTC
I have a .properties file in the test sources directory of my standard java
project. In Netbeans 4.1, the package node in the projects explorer window is
labelled with "<default package>". I installed the NB 5.0 release candidate 2
(the first 5.0 version I have tried) and opened the project. I haven't upgraded
the project format, as I haven't needed to amend it yet. In the explorer tree,
the node is displayed with no label. I can still expand it and see my
properties file, and the popup menu items appear as expected when I right-click,
it's just the name that is missing.

I see there are a few other issues that mention this effect (#68119, #67287,
#67273) but those say the problem has already been fixed in an earlier dev
build. Obviously this is not the case, or has since suffered a regression. One
of the other issues suggests it is fixed by removing the user directory, but I
didn't choose to import my previous settings when I installed RC2 so the userdir
should already have been clean.

I also have this problem.
In the old upgraded from 4.1 to 5.0 it displays "<default package>" but in a new
project that I created it shows nothing!

My setup is:
NetBeans IDE 5.0
NetBeans Mobility Pack 5.0
NetBeans Profiler 5.0

I cannot reproduce it, can you provide more info please? Build numbers,
screenshots or whole project?
