When I start MedRec WebLogic domain using plugin it waits for a long time and then shows me a message that server start is failed. But in fact, server is started and the plugin shows me the message due to issue 72761. BTW, I believe that we should change the wording from "start failed" to "plugin failed to start server. Click Refresh to update the status if the server will be started later".

It works for me.
Still reproducible with JSE 8.1 (2006.05.31). Could you, please, provide an information about what behavior have you experienced? On my laptop, the starting time seems to be more than 30 minutes, that's why the plugin failed to determine server start.

Isn't it duplicate of the issue 72761? From your last comment it looks like your server starts too long and the WL plugin times out. Fixing the issue 72761 might help.
I agree that both issues are tighly connected. BTW, take a look at the original Summary and Description - they're about message text only, not about the behavior.
ok, so why must be this bug reopened if we have the other one?
Feel free to close it as duplicate if you think that issue 72761 tracks this aspect too.
ok, closing this issue as duplicate. There is separate issue 67170 filed for the incorrect server start detection. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 72761 ***
