Up to NB 4.1, there was a feature in the SQL Command tab in RunTime/Databases which allowed previously issued SQL commands to be selected from a Dropdown List. This extremely useful feature was removed from NB versions 5.0 without warning. Could it be reinstated? Charles Whittington
reassingning to db module..
Thank you for filing it. Marking as enhancement. As explained a few time ago on nbusers the history was removed because it didn't work well with the new SQL editor, which was supposed to be able to execute SQL scripts. Unfortunately there was not time for the script execution in 5.0, but it was added in 5.5. Now we have to devise a way for the history to work with the current SQL editor, which can execute the whole file, the selection or the statement under the caret. Most likely it won't be possible to bring the history back in 5.5 because it is feature-frozen, so this is for 6.0.
Fixed with the SQL History feature in 6.5.
Verified with build 080924.
