No matter how hard I try, I can't find a way to download the mac os x profiler for NB 5.

Could you please tell us how did you search for the download? If you weren't 
able to find it when trying so hard, it's a serious problem for us and should 
be fixed asap. Do you think the big link from profiler main page isn't visible 
enough?

On my mac, I go to Netbeans.org.

I click the Downloads tab.

I click the "NetBeans IDE, Mobility Pack, and Profiler 5.0 downloads"

I choose the operating system of Mac OS X, unclick the spam checkboxes, omit my
email, and click next.

The page I am taken to has no link for downloading the profiler.  Just the IDE
Installer and the SJSAS 8.2 + IDE bundle.

If I had chosen "windows" as the platform, the profiler link would be present.

Incidentally, that link <http://profiler.netbeans.org/download/index.html>
worked but I wouldn't have know to use that link.

Mac support for Netbeans profiler 5.0 was defined as 'experimental' so we did
not place it on official netbeans 5.0 download page.
