Steps to reproduce: - create a SynchronousSample project - open BPEL file in designer - switch to source view scenario 1: - navigate to the beginning of the document and set a breakpoint to the <process> element Result: It's not allowed to set breakpoint at process element but despite this a new breakpoint appears at the sequence element. This is unclear behavior. Moreover appeared breakpoint is out of user's scope of view and it looks like nothing happens. scenario 2: - navigate to the end of the document and set a breakpoint to the </process> element Result: It's not allowed to set breakpoint at process element but despite this a new breakpoint appears at the reply element (last executable element). This is also unclear behavior.
Alexander, could you please clarify what behaivor you are expecting? I don't really understand what to fix here. Mark as INCOMPLETE for now.
As per verbal agreement with Alexander Pepin closing this issue as INVALID since the described behaivor is by design. Please consider filing ENHANCEMENT REQUESTS for improvements in breakpoint positioning.
