Description _ viendu 2006-07-28 04:25:20 UTC
When run a web app, using Sun app server, the log file is not always updated.
This is the daily build and beta2 build of Netbeans 5.5. I open the Sun's app
server's domain's log file and I see all the stuff. Then I delete them, and
save. Then I go back to Netbeans and click inside the output area for the Sun's
app server. I get some exception.

I am not sure that deleting the server log while the server is running is
supported by the AS.
How do you delete them? from nb? from elswhere? How?

I notice when I press control-l to clear the output area, it's often start to
act weird. I also edit the log using some form of text editor, then select all
text, and hit the delete button on the keyboard, then save.

linked to log rotation: once it rotates, the output is not updated in the IDE.
I have a fix in test mode now.
