If the immediate upstream and downstream variables are not visible in the mapper
tree (i.e. they need to be scrolled to), then the mapper trees should
automatically scroll so that they are visible. Thus, not only are the
upstream/downstream variables highlighted in bold, but they are also scrolled-to
so that the user can easily see them when the activity is selected.

Most probably not for this release.

Resolving as WONTFIX in favor of issue 128646 and issue 134362. We'll implement filtering instead of auto-scrolling.
