I have migrated a project from 5.0 and attempted to build it under 5.5 and the
Build Project task does not work.  When I turned on the verbose ant trace, the
5.5 build is looking for either the property
do.war.package.without.custom.manifest or do.war.package.with.custom.manifest. 
Once I had set this property in the build.properties file, the build of the .war
file progressed correctly.

I'm sorry but we support this scenario no more. I've tried to create Web project in NB 5.5.1 and then I've opened it 
and built it in NB 6.0 daily build without any errors. So I suggest to close this issue as WORKSFORME.
