Description:
The "Role Binding" and "Role"  (from class diagram palette)
are producing the same UI element in drawing area. Is that the correct behvaiour ?

Yes that is correct.  We should remove one of them.

Evaluation:
I thin may not be a defect, but a default behaviour of Role Binding link if it
used on empty diagram space, similar to Link Comment, but still reproducible
with coke 061005

Actually this one is no longer valid in 6.5 since the role binding is only on context palette.
