Which NB release do you use and also can you provide steps how to reproduce? thanks

(Version = 5.0, see above)
Open an sun-ejb-jar.xml, change it and save

This may or may not be fixed in NB 5.5. In 5.0 there were many (well, more than
one) distinct issues that would cause this visual effect.

How _exactly_ did you save?

For example, in 5.5, if you open sun-ejb-jar.xml, edit certain text fields and
save via ^S, you'll see this behavior. If you save via File | Save or Save All
button, you will _not_ see this behavior. (I fixed this, but the fix was
deferred to post 5.5).

Anyway, whatever you did, could you try to reproduce it in 5.5 and post your
results (and steps if you can still reproduce it).
