It would be nice if the application client could be based on the NetBeans
platform. Now one has to jump through considerable hoops
(http://wiki.netbeans.info/wiki/view/DevFaqAppClientOnNbPlatform) to get a
NetBeans instance to run and even then several exceptions popup and the @EJB
annotation cannot be used in the client for EJB injection.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
