The Entperprise Pack uninstaller doesn't appear to do anything. The uninstaller runs for just a few seconds and all of my clusters are still in the NetBeans directory. On re-installation, you get an error "It appears that the Enterprise Pack is already installed in the selected location, remove the conflicting folders (soa1, uml3, xmltools1, identity1) and try again" (see attached screen shot). But even after doing that, on-reinstall, the SOA category did not appear in my new projects dialog. I ended up uninstalling NetBeans and the application server and starting from scratch, but even that faild to work. Finally, I realized I needed to delete my userdir.

Brian, would youplease attach install and uninstall logs ? They are located in C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Local Settings\Temp. And file name should be netbeans-5_5-uninstallation-%DATESTAMP%.%SOMEDIGIT%.log

I've attached the install logs from 26 Oct and in the uninstall and reinstall logs from 03 Nov. Regards, Brian.
Please use installer|enterprise component for EP installation-related issues.
Seems to be a well-know issue with InstallShield database. Sometimes it corrupts because of unknown reasons. We saw a lot of variants of the issue but unfortunately no dependencies were determined. The possible solution is to manually delete it at %SystemDrive%\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Universal. After that you also need to manually all Enterprise Pack files (as well as AppServer directory if you have selected to install bundled AS). After that you can reinstall EntPack and 99% possibility that the uninstaller would now works fine.
bleonard, did the proposed solution work for you?
Sorry, I haven't tested it yet (I haven't had the need to uninstall :-) ). I'll give it a try and let you know. Brian
