Description strzinek 2007-01-05 12:28:35 UTC
There is no way to connect to server console from Netbeans when it is served
through https instead of http, at least there is no field to specify the
protocol neither in the server properties nor in new registration form.

Tried against sunappserver 9.0 - it behaves like there is no server at the
specified location and port when ssl is enabled on the server listener.

When deploying to such a server it says:
"Starting of server _server_name_ is not supported. Please, start the server
manually.
See the server log for details."

Https connection to server console is crutial in production environments.

Reassigning to the sunappserv module for evaluation.

I'm sorry, it looks like an issue of sjsas9 admin console (with ssl enabled) -
after trying to remotely deploy to it from Netbeans the admin console hangs up.
It happens on AMD64 linux, unfortunately without any signs in logs. More, on
windows local server it's working fine.

Please close this issue, I'll investigate it more and eventually post it to sjsas.
