If you add a GlassFish from LOCAL DOMAIN... the serverlog is displayed inside netbeans... This is wonderful !!!! If you add a GlassFish from REMOTE DOMAIN.... the serverlog options is disabled... it force me to view the logs in a browser... Can you implement remote serverlog ?
-> sunappserv
any news ?
Currently, the local log file is accessed and displayed. This obviously cannot be done for remote servers. Will revisit this for the next version to see if we can leverage any appserver api's to access remote logs. Marking as future.
When add a remote domain for glassfish v2 we cannot view log file in output window.

did this go in? please correct the TM to reflect current commitment.
this needs to be fixed in the v3 plugin. work with the server team to make it happen in the v3 plugin case... please be prepared to discuss this issue on 2008/10/22
well maybe we can get to this in the post 6.8 timeframe
shift to me.
NetBeans 7.3 GlassFish module supports showing GlassFish v3 log trough HTTP admin command. I don't expect that this is still actual for old servers.
Closing this bug because current GlassFish v3 module already supports showing log from remote domains.
