Description dyegoleal 2007-01-26 12:53:07 UTC
If you add a GlassFish from LOCAL DOMAIN... the serverlog is displayed inside
netbeans...

This is wonderful !!!!

If you add a GlassFish from REMOTE DOMAIN.... the serverlog options is
disabled... it force me to view the logs in a browser...

Can you implement remote serverlog ?

any news ?
Comment 3 Nitya Doraisamy 2007-10-30 07:04:33 UTC
Currently, the local log file is accessed and displayed. This obviously cannot be done for remote servers.

Will revisit this for the next version to see if we can leverage any appserver api's to access remote logs.

Marking as future.

Comment 10 TomasKraus 2012-08-29 12:08:23 UTC
NetBeans 7.3 GlassFish module supports showing GlassFish v3 log trough HTTP admin command.

I don't expect that this is still actual for old servers.
Comment 11 TomasKraus 2012-09-03 14:03:42 UTC
Closing this bug because current GlassFish v3 module already supports showing log from remote domains.
